Amanda Cassil, PhD
Dr. Amanda Cassil (PSY26549) founded STEM Psychological Services out a passion for working with women and underrepresented groups in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and math). Dr. Cassil is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Pasadena, California and works with clients around topics such as: navigating conflicting expectations, impostor syndrome, and work-life balance. She has experience treating anxiety, depression, and adult survivors of childhood abuse. Dr. Cassil additionally works with Highly Sensitive People as defined by Dr. Elaine Aron. Dr. Cassil values diversity and the multiple roles that individuals must navigate in their academic, social, and family settings, and she invites her clients to explore these dimensions within therapy.
Dr. Cassil received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Graduate School in Pasadena. Dr. Cassil has worked in college counseling centers (including UC Riverside, Cal State Fullerton, Caltech, and Cal Poly Pomona) as a practicum trainee, intern, postdoctoral resident, and staff psychologist.
Grace M. Goodman, PsyD
Dr. Grace Goodman (PSY28905) is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Pasadena, California. Dr. Goodman’s primary focus is working with women and ethnic minorities in STEM fields and academia regarding topics such as: navigating difficult work situations, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, stress management, and self-compassion. She has experience treating anxiety, depression, and management of chronic illness. Dr. Goodman is committed to empowering clients as they face life’s challenges in ways that foster resilience and enrich their interpersonal relationships.
Dr. Goodman received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena. She has worked in community mental health centers (Augustus Hawkins Mental Health, San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health, Centerstone Kentucky) and medical clinics (Hubert Humphrey Comprehensive Health Center, SAC Health Systems) as a trainee and staff psychologist.
